30 Hour Famine

That is right we are going to starve for 30 hours on Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th.  As we are deeply hungry for 30 hours we will remember and pray for the 29,000 kids that die of hunger each day.

We have until April 25th to raise $3000 for the hungry kids in Africa. Each student who participates is encouraged to raise $35.  Remember $30 feeds a family for a entire MONTH!

Miracles…Miracles….

Last Wednesday we viewed the FH video/snow ball fight, chatted about Miracles, and played a rad game.

Lesson Topic: Week Three of our INCREDIBLES series.
‘Fun Factor’: HIGH. All I need to say is: SLED!!

Lesson Objective: Miracles happen to today. Simply, we just have determination and prayer and we see what God does. You and I can play a part in a miracle.

That is right.  We turn water into an energy drink.  That is a miracle all right.

‘Fun Factor’:  HIGH.  We played midnight football, need I say more?

Lesson Objective:  A Miracle IS NOT a magic trick.  Jesus’ miracles always result in a change.  Jesus is in the business of changing things and his changes ALWAYS are for the best.  The biggest miracle is allowing Jesus to change our lives.

Hope everyone had a fun, but safe New Year!  I have a few reminders:

1)  Parent informal informational meeting.  Wednesday Jan. 9th from 7pm to 8pm in Fellowship Hall.

2)  the fallout (youth group) will resume Wednesday, Jan 16th @ 7pm to 8:30pm.

3)  If you have not signed up for Forest Home, please do so.  We are running low on spots and I need to give Forest Home our final count.  Trust me, Forest Home will be a blast.  If you want more information click here
